NSC Reaffirms Commitment to Anomalous Health Incidents

Washington, D.C. — National Security Council Spokesperson Sean Savett has emphasized the Biden-Harris Administration’s dedication to addressing anomalous health incidents among U.S. personnel.

Savett noted that the administration launched a focused effort to tackle these health concerns upon taking office. Various government departments and agencies now work together. They aim to improve medical care access and allow free reporting of incidents without stigma.

The Intelligence Community is also involved in this effort. They are investigating the causes of these health incidents. Savett stated, “Our focus remains unwavering.” The latest Intelligence Community Assessment supports the need for continued research and timely care.

Some findings suggest that pulsed electromagnetic or acoustic energy may explain certain cases. Experts also found that some incidents cannot easily be linked to known conditions, raising concerns about potential exposure to these energy sources.

The administration plans to brief the incoming administration on ongoing efforts and recommendations. Savett concluded that sustained research is necessary to understand these symptoms. He reaffirmed the commitment to support personnel and their families facing these health issues.

The U.S. government continues to prioritize the health and safety of its personnel abroad. This commitment highlights the support the administration provides to those affected.
