Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini made groundbreaking announcements during the 128th Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) meeting, launching an Amnesty Scheme to regularize cancelled residential plots and bringing relief to thousands of allottees.
The scheme applies to plots sold via e-auction after July 6, 2020, allowing eligible bidders who paid at least 15% of the 25% cost to regularize with full payment plus 18-24% annual interest within 60 days.
Transitioning to administrative enhancements, the CM approved a new Estate Officer II post for Faridabad, which will manage 62,606 properties across 70 sectors, including Palwal, Hathin, Nuh, Roz-Ka-Meo, and Tauru. This move addresses the long-standing workload burden, promising faster development and better citizen services, outpacing Gurugram’s combined 55,735 properties.
Saini also unveiled three digital initiatives: the e-Housing Portal automates staff quarter allotments through HRMS integration, the Online Ex-Gratia Policy Portal ensures transparent support for the families of deceased employees, and a new system links water billing with the Plot and Property Management (PPM) system, resolving transfer-related hurdles.
Furthermore, the meeting approved the transfer of 5 acres of HPGCL land in Ballabhgarh for a government college, thereby expanding higher education opportunities. Meanwhile, Saini directed HSVP to complete road repairs by June 15 and maintain parks, focusing on cleanliness, lighting, and seating.
Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary Arun Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary A.K. Singh, Principal Secretary D. Suresh, HSVP Administrator Sachin Gupta, and OSD B.B. Bharti attended, underscoring the state’s commitment to progress.
