Carraro Group Targets $375 Million Revenue in India

Ettore Francesco Sequi, Chairman of Carraro India, along with Tomaso Carraro, Vice Chairman of Carraro Group and Vice Chairman of Carraro India, met with Piyush Goyal, India’s Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Member of Parliament for North Mumbai Lok Sabha, as well as Vani Sarraju Rao, Indian Ambassador to Italy, in Milan today.

The meeting highlighted Carraro Group’s deep-rooted commitment to India, which started in 1997. Operating under the slogan “Think & Make In India,” Carraro India focuses on creating solutions and technologies for the off-highway sector, including agriculture and construction equipment, directly within India.

Carraro’s technology and products, including its 4WD systems, significantly enhance farm efficiency and productivity. By supplying farmers with dependable and efficient drivetrain solutions, the company enables them to tackle challenges and to improve their crop yields. This effort plays a vital role in addressing global food security concerns, ensuring the growing world population has access to nutritious food.

The company has set an ambitious target to reach a revenue of $375 million (approximately €350 million) by the fiscal year 2028/2029, up from its current $215 million (approximately €200 million). To achieve this growth, Carraro plans to expand its Pune facility in the coming years, ensuring it has the infrastructure and capacity to meet rising customer demands and propel its business forward.
