Recognition Day Showcases KBDAV-7’s Commitment to Student Success
KBDAV-7 in Chandigarh recently hosted its vibrant Recognition Day for junior and senior schools. The event honored students’ outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements.
Chief Guest Shipra Bansal, Chairperson of the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, graced the occasion. Squadron Leader Aman Singh Hans, a decorated alumnus with the Shaurya Chakra, was the Guest of Honour, inspiring all. The school band’s rhythmic performance welcomed guests, earning loud cheers.
Hans received a silver plate, a shawl, and a sacred plant from the school management. Principal Pooja Prakash thanked parents for their unwavering support. She shared the school’s impressive results, praising students’ dedication. “This day celebrates our learners’ hard work,” she said amid applause.
Notable attendees included Ravinder Talwar, Secretary of the DAV College Managing Committee, and Madhu Bahl, the Founder and Principal. The event highlighted KBDAV-7’s focus on holistic growth. It left everyone inspired by the school’s legacy of excellence.
Vibrant Student Performances Light Up the Recognition Day Celebration
The ceremony featured dynamic performances that captivated the audience. Nursery students performed a cheerful song and dance on the theme of friendship, spreading joy. Kindergarten learners showcased “Apna Punjab, Rangla Punjab,” reflecting the rich culture of Punjab.
Classes I and II presented The Jungle Book, bringing Mowgli’s adventures to life. Their act charmed everyone with its creativity and originality. Class X students delivered compelling speeches on environmental conservation, urging action.
The hip-hop performance by girls from Classes IX and XI stole the show with energetic beats. Boys showcased aerobics and gymnastics, displaying impressive skills. “These performances highlight our students’ talents,” said Madhu Bahl.
Parents cheered loudly as their children took to the stage. The acts emphasized KBDAV-7’s commitment to fostering creativity and confidence. The vibrant energy created a memorable atmosphere for all.
Awards Recognize Exceptional Talent Across All Classes at KBDAV-7
The award ceremony was the event’s highlight, celebrating students from Pre-Primary to Class XII. Shreya Garg, the Tri-City Topper, won a Rs. 11,000 cash prize, a shield, and a set of books. Her achievement drew thunderous applause from the audience.
Fifteen students received trophies for academic excellence, showcasing their dedication. Nineteen board exam toppers from Classes VIII, X, and XII earned trophies and certificates. Twenty-four subject toppers were also honored with trophies.
Ninety-two students from Pre-Primary to Class VII received motivational books to inspire growth. “These awards encourage students to strive for greatness,” said Shipra Bansal. Parents beamed with pride as their children were recognized.
The ceremony ended with resounding applause, motivating students for future milestones. It reinforced KBDAV-7’s reputation as a nurturing ground for talent. The event left a lasting impact on all attendees.
